Mrs Jindal believes women empowerment and sustainable livelihood can be key to building a better world and society. Empowered women can be build an empowered future for their families, and the world. Educating them, providing them opportunities for livelihood through skill development, are ways to build the nation at grassroot level. With such strong beliefs in the impact of women empowerment on society Shallu Jindal has been implementing a multi-dimensional rural livelihood programme, which has resulted in minimising the economic vulnerability of the targeted sections (like women, the farmers, artisans & other key contributors to rural & tribal economy) and augmented their access to cash income on a sustainable basis. Ms Jindal, along with her team, not only engage with the local women but also farmers from the nearby periphery villages so as to supplement their incomes, by skill-building, upgrading skills, enhancing technical know-how and access to resources.
