Jindal Art Institute (JAI) is the dream project of renowned Kuchipudi dancer and social contributor Smt. Shallu Jindal. The institute was founded with the aim of spreading far and wide the rich artistic heritage of India with a firm belief that art brings peace, harmony, and self-fulfillment to all.

Ms Jindal has dedicated her life to contributing towards the ennoblement of the Indian Classical Dance forms, especially Kuchipudi, across India and globally. Currently, she is working towards a future where JAI will offer scholarships to underprivileged students so as to enable them to adopt classical art forms as a career option and popularize the same around the world.

Inaugural Showcase of Varied Art Forms - 2018
The Inaugural showcase of Jindal Art Institute was dramatic and powerful. The audience witnessed exemplary performances in Classical vocal, Tabla, Piano, Kathak , Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, Odissi, Lyrical Contemporary, Zumba, Folk, Bollywood from exceptional talents. Padma Vibhushan and Rajya Sabha MP Raghunath Mahapatra was also present to grace the occasion and felicitated the performers.

5 Elements Show for Art Fair Inauguration – 2018
A glimpse of Five Elements through dance was showcased by Jindal Art Institute at Harvest 2018 by Arushi Arts with the message - Nature is kind, Let us all heal it! We combined classical dance form of Kathak with free flow contemporary dance styles to create a beautiful message from Nature to all. The showcase was organized in collaboration with Sadhya- a unit of performing arts, and Kathak Exponent Guru Vidha Lal.

Happiness Themed Diwali Showcase for Jindal Polyfilms – 2018
Jindal Art Institute was invited by Jindal Polyfilms to showcase Happiness through classical dance forms for their organization’s annual Diwali event. They felt that Bollywood was taking away from our traditional art forms, its charm and the joy it evokes. Our team worked hard to create a unique presentation, which included - a mish mash of traditional and modern, incorporating dance forms like Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Odissi and Lyrical Contemporary to evoke Joy and Happiness among audience.

Classical Dance Showcase at Angul on 1st March 2019
Jindal Art Festival by J.A.I was aimed at celebrating classical dance forms of India as a tribute to the divine with performances in front of the new Jagannath Temple in Odisha. The festival was organized in Angul, Odisha from 28th Feb'2019 to 2nd March 2019 and showcased Kathak, Kuchipudi,Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kathakali, Pung Cholam and Odissi.
