Jindal Art Institute (JAI) is the dream project of renowned Kuchipudi dancer and social contributor Smt. Shallu Jindal. The institute was founded with the aim of spreading far and wide the rich artistic heritage of India with a firm belief that art brings peace, harmony, and self-fulfillment to all.
Ms Jindal has dedicated her life to contributing towards the ennoblement of the Indian Classical Dance forms, especially Kuchipudi, across India and globally. Currently, she is working towards a future where JAI will offer scholarships to underprivileged students so as to enable them to adopt classical art forms as a career option and popularize the same around the world.
This Seniors Weekend Theatre Workshop, was conducted in collaboration with Shri. ArvindGaur, Founder & Director of the AsmitaTheatre group. It was an opportunity for participants giving them a head start into the world of theatre and acting with this production oriented theatre workshop for adults by the extremely skilled and experienced theatre director & Bollywood coach for several actors like Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor.
Summer Theatre Workshop for small children witnessed participants in the age group of 5 years to 13 years, engaged in an energetic, interactive fun filled theatre workshop. It was a hugely successful workshop which showcased the individuality of each child and also helped them hone their public speaking skills and unleash their hidden talents in stage performances.
The two-day Mohiniyattam workshop organized by JAI led by Guru Jayaprabha Menon was a unique chance to learn this elegant and graceful dance form involving elaborate description of mudras with a very distinctive style. Guru Jayaprabha Menon -who is a danseuse with exceptional artistry, a versatile choreographer and an affectionate Guru to her disciples, enriched the workshop experience through personal experiences and tip as also teaching them a new item.
Kathak Intensive Workshop and Kathak Advanced Workshop with renowned Kathak Veteran Smt. Vidha Lal included five joyous days of learning and making unforgettable memories with participants who travelled from varied parts of India to make this workshop a success. The two levels of workshop were aimed to cater to beginners and trained senior Kathak artists. The participants went through a common day interactive session post which they were assigned into the workshop level suitable for them.

The workshop was in collaboration with Phyzio Matters Clinic and engaged participants in an interactive workshop equipping them with key exercise techniques and fitness tips for easy implementation in day to day life.

On popular request Jindal Art Institute introduced evening batches in Bollyfitness and Bollywood Jazz with renowned Celebrity Choreographer Ms Malika Baig for all aspiring dance enthusiasts, especially the working professionals/ school and college going students. JAI also conducted free classes for children from Spread a Smile NGO with a chance for on stage performance as well in Bollywood Jazz Showcase.
